The great explorers of the early 20th century threw open the doors to the last global frontiers. The poles have been reached and the highest peaks climbed. It is the responsibility of our generation to preserve these discoveries and the remaining wilderness for the future.
The awesome beauty of the high Arctic has inspired us. This has motivated us to do something inspiring. Through television, with local government support and the help of forward thinking businesses we will pioneer the future of clean expeditioning to the high Arctic.
In spring 2009 Carbon Neutral Expeditions will commence a series of scientific, educational and exploratory expeditions to the high Arctic. These expeditions will undertake positive research into the effects of climate change without the negative impact of carbon emissions from aircraft, excess road travel and waste.
This will be the first low impact Greenland Crossing. Relying on sail, solar and human power alone.
You barely need to turn the page of a newspaper or turn on the television to hear further climate change stories. The evidence is building and the case for human causes of climate change are damming. Carbon neutral expeditions does not want to be part of the problem, but rather a pioneer of the solution.
